I. Composition and Performance
DS-4052 resin is a copolymer of (meth)acrylate monomers, styrene-free, using toluene and butyl acetate as solvents. This resin produces coatings with fast drying and excellent weather resistance. Due to the presence of a small amount of hydroxyl groups, it exhibits good compatibility with CAB and NC, and excellent wetting and dispersing properties for pigments.
II. Product Technical Specifications
1. Appearance: Clear and transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. Color: Water-white to slightly yellow.
3. Viscosity (Greek tube, 25℃), seconds: Z3-Z5
4. Solids (150℃, 1h), %: 50±2
5. Acid Value (solution, mgKOH/g): 2-5
6. Glass Transition Temperature (theoretical value), ℃: 52
III. Applications
DS-4052 resin is mainly used in combination with CAB and NC to produce intermediate coatings for automobiles and motorcycles. Excellent adhesion to ABS and metals, and excellent adhesion between layers of the same topcoat.

Notes:
1. The mixed solvent can be: 50% benzene, 30% butyl acetate, 20% PMA;
2. After the above paint film flash-dries for 5 minutes, wet-on-wet spraying of PU varnish is possible.
