I. Composition and Properties
This resin is a copolymer of functional monomers and (meth)acrylate monomers, using ethylene glycol ethyl ether as a solvent. It exhibits good water solubility, excellent pigment wetting properties, good compatibility with water-based amino resins, and excellent workability. The resulting paint film possesses excellent gloss, fullness, hardness, and chemical resistance, making it suitable for water-soluble solid color paints and topcoat varnishes.

III. **Applications**
A-373 resin is mainly used in conjunction with (partially) methylated amino resins. After neutralization with a neutralizing agent, it is used to produce water-based paints or varnishes for use in large-barrel paints, security doors, electric vehicles, and other engineering vehicle paints.

Notes:
1. Adjust the pH of A-373 to 7-7.5 by adding DMEA. 10-15% deionized water can be added for spraying. However, to ensure the surface finish and gloss, it is generally recommended to use appropriate amounts of co-solvents such as ethanol/butanol, BCS/DPM, etc., for spraying.
2. The above clear varnish, when baked at 150℃-160℃ for 15-30 minutes, will produce a film with excellent gloss and hardness.
