I. **Composition and Properties**
DS-9174 resin is a copolymer of (meth)acrylate monomers, styrene, and other special monomers, using xylene and PMA as solvents. When used in conjunction with amino resins, this resin produces high-gloss, full-bodied paint films with excellent overall performance.
II. **Technical Specifications**
1. Appearance: Transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. Color: Water-white to slightly yellow.
3. Viscosity (Greek tube, 25℃), seconds: Z3-Z5.
4. Solids (150℃, 1h), %: 74±2.
5. Acid Value (solution, mgKOH/g): 7-12.
III. **Applications**
DS-9174 resin is mainly used to produce high-grade amino baking varnishes or color paints, widely used in automotive original equipment paints and other industrial coatings.
