Technical Specifications
1. Appearance: Clear to pale blue transparent liquid
2. Viscosity: 50-80 (Geigy tube/25℃) {Slight fluctuation is allowed during finished product storage}
3. Fineness: ≤15um (scraper fineness gauge)
4. Solid Content: 12±1%
Applications and Features
1. Excellent alignment effect on aluminum powder, good whiteness, and strong metallic feel.
2. High hardness and good flexibility after film formation.
3. Can be coated on various substrates. (Note: A primer is required for metal substrates.)
4. Can be coated with PU and UV topcoats, with excellent interlayer adhesion (If using PU and UV topcoats, please allow the coating to dry completely; baking at 70℃ for 30 minutes is recommended).
Paint Formulation Reference
Resin: 70-80%
Silver Powder: 6-8%
Polyester Adhesion Promoter: 1-2% (For improved adhesion to special substrates, we recommend using our DS-360 or DS-370)
Mixed Solvents: Appropriate amount (mainly esters, ketones, ethers, and ether esters; the same applies to application solvents)
Note: If no topcoat is used, it is recommended to add anti-silver-drop additives and alcohol-resistant additives.
