I. **Composition and Performance**
DS-270 resin is a copolymer of polyester resin and acrylic monomers using a special process, with XL and BAC as solvents. This resin produces coatings with fast drying, high gloss, and excellent workability.
II. **Product Technical Specifications**
1. Appearance: Clear and transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. Color: Water-white to slightly yellow.
3. Viscosity (Greek tube, 25℃), seconds: X-Z1
4. Solids (150℃, 1h), %: 70±2
5. Acid Value (solution, mgKOH/g): 4-8
6. Hydroxyl Groups (theoretical value, solids), %: 2.0
III. **Applications**
DS-270 can be combined with polyurethane resin to produce solid color paints or metallic paints (high surface gloss), used for plastic mirror frames, motorcycle paints, and other industrial coatings; it can also be combined with amino resins for baking varnishes.
