I. Composition and Performance

DS-6350H is a copolymer of (meth)acrylate monomers and epoxy resin, using n-butanol and BCS as solvents. When blended with water-soluble amino resins (such as Changchun 625) and dried, this resin produces a coating with excellent adhesion to metal materials such as iron and aluminum.

III. **Applications**

DS-6350H resin, after neutralization with a neutralizing agent, can be used in conjunction with water-soluble amino resins to prepare water-based solid color paints or varnishes for baking paint on metal surfaces such as blinds, steel measuring tapes, and bicycle frames.

Instructions:

1. Pre-mix DS-6350H colorant with dimethylethanolamine until homogeneous. Measure the pH using pH paper or a pH meter; the result should be between 7.5 and 8.5.

2. The above paint solution can be diluted with deionized water to the desired application viscosity for spraying, dipping, or spraying onto substrates such as glass and galvanized sheets. Baking at 150℃-180℃ for 30 minutes will yield excellent adhesion (1-2 points of water-based paint adhesion promoter HDP can be added appropriately).

3. If the gloss or leveling is poor during spraying, some ethylene glycol butyl ether can be added appropriately. Adding 1-2 points of water-based blocked polyurethane can improve water resistance.
