I. **Composition and Properties**
A-7440 resin is a copolymer of (meth)acrylate monomers and functional monomers, using PMA as a solvent. This resin exhibits good compatibility with CAB and NC, resulting in coatings with excellent adhesion and weather resistance.
II. **Technical Specifications**
1. **Appearance:** Clear and transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. **Color:** Water-white to slightly yellow.
3. **Viscosity (Grünster tube, 25℃), seconds: Z-Z2.
4. **Solids (150℃, 1h), %:** 40±2.
5. **Acid Value (solution, mgKOH/g):** 2-5.
6. **Glass Transition Temperature (theoretical value), ℃:** 40.
III. **Applications**
A-7440 is mainly used as a topcoat for ABS, HIPS, and other plastics, or for metals such as aluminum alloys/galvanized sheets; it is also used as a screen printing ink for PET and other plastic films.
