I. Composition and Properties
DS-5060 resin is a copolymer of (meth)acrylate monomers and styrene, using xylene and butyl acetate as solvents. The resulting paint film features fast drying, high hardness, and good weather resistance.
II. **Product Technical Specifications**
1. Appearance: Clear and transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. Color: Water-white to slightly yellow.
3. Viscosity (Grifler tube, 25℃), seconds: 8-16
4. Solids (150℃, 1h), %: 60±2
5. Acid Value (solution, mgKOH/g): 6-10
6. Hydroxyl Group (theoretical value, solids), %: 2.6
III. **Applications**
DS-5060 is mainly used in conjunction with biuret (N-75) or trimer (N-3390) as a topcoat for automobiles, motorcycles, construction machinery, and other outdoor construction applications.
