I. Composition and Properties
A-374 is a copolymer of E-10 and (meth)acrylate monomers, using ethylene glycol ethyl ether as a solvent. This resin has good water solubility and excellent workability. The resulting paint film exhibits excellent gloss, fullness, hardness, and chemical resistance, making it suitable for use as a water-soluble topcoat.
II. **Product Technical Specifications**
1. Appearance: Light yellow and transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. Color: <1
3. Viscosity (Grifler tube, 25℃), seconds: Z-Z2
4. Solids (150℃, 1h), %: 74±2
5. Acid Value (solution basis, mgKOH/g): 30-45
III. **Applications**
A-374 resin is mainly used in conjunction with (partially) methylated amino resins. After neutralization with a neutralizing agent, it is used to produce water-based clear varnishes or solid color paints, and is applied as a topcoat for security doors, electric vehicles, and other engineering vehicles.

A-374 52
Dimethylethanolamine 4
Amino 625 18
Leveling Agent (Digo 425) 0.2
Anti-oil Agent (Digo 500) 0.2
Cosolvent (Ethanol/DPM/BCS=4/3/3) 16
Deionized Water 10
Instructions:
1. First, mix A-374 evenly with the water-based amino resin, then add dimethylethanolamine and stir to neutralize. Measure the pH value with pH paper; it should be between 7.0 and 7.5. Then add the other materials and stir evenly (the varnish viscosity is approximately 30-40 seconds for a Forecast cup 4).
2. Dilute the above varnish with 20% deionized water to the application viscosity. Spray onto the primer or topcoat and bake at 150℃~160℃ for 20~30 minutes. The varnish film will have excellent gloss and fullness.
