I. **Composition and Properties**
A-3118 resin is a copolymer of (meth)acrylate monomers and functional monomers, using xylene and n-butanol as solvents. This resin exhibits excellent adhesion to various metal substrates, including stainless steel, and demonstrates superior water resistance and chemical resistance.

1. Appearance: Clear and transparent, free of mechanical impurities.
2. Color: Water-white to slightly yellow.
3. Viscosity (Greek tube, 25℃), seconds: U-Z
4. Solids (150℃, 1h), %: 60±2

III. **Applications**
A-3118 is mainly used in conjunction with amino resins to formulate transparent varnishes or colored paints, widely used for coating stainless steel thermos cups and various metal pen caps.

Notes: 1. The mixed solvent can be: 40% xylene, 40% butyl acetate, 20% n-butanol;
2. After spraying the above transparent varnish onto a stainless steel thermos, dry it at 150℃ for 30 minutes. The resulting varnish film should be boiled in water for 2 hours to test adhesion.
